Our versatile soft play area is suitable for kids of all ages!

This brand new, vibrant soft play area has been thoughtfully designed to allow us to offer a stimulating, fun and secure place for children. 

There is a variety of equipment to use, such as a football and basketball court, an under the sea themed 3 tier play structure including a wavy slide and a twister slide. There's a rope bridge and many other obstacles, encouraging children to slide, leap, crawl and jump and clamber, all the while being safeguarded by the high quality, gentle materials that compose our play area. 

Soft play provides a fantastic opportunity for children of any age to challenge their physical, mental and social skills in a secure and enjoyable setting.

Physical Growth

Activities like climbing, crawling and running on soft indoor play equipment contribute to building core strength and helps to refine gross motor skills. These actions can aid children in developing balance, flexibility and coordination. 

Intellectual Growth

Our soft play environment is designed to promote exploration and discovery, thus helping to expand cognitive abilities. Using obstacle courses, for example can further develop problem solving, decision making and creative thinking skills. 

Social Growth

Indoor play areas such as ours here at Anchors Away, allow children to mingle with their peers, make new friends and acquire social skills. 

Within a safe, secure and fun setting, children can learn to share, take turns and communicate with other children effectively. Ultimately helping them to develop teamwork, collaboration and crucial life skills. 

Safety Precautions

Visitor safety is our number one priority. Safety precautions have been implemented to guarantee that children can explore the play area in a secure and protected environment. 

We routinely inspect our soft play equipment and follow a strict maintenance schedule. 

The play equipment undergoes regular cleaning to maintain exceptional standards and prevent germ transmission. 

To ensure safe soft play area usage, we have established rules and guidelines and politely request that parents and carers supervise their children at all times and make sure that they are adhering to the rules and guidelines. During weekends and school holidays, we ask that a maximum of 2 adults attend per booking. This helps us to ensure we have enough seats available during our busier times. Weekdays this rule doesn’t apply. Thank you for your understanding. 

Food & Beverages

Hot and cold food is served throughout the day in our cafe for visitors of the soft play. In addition to this, we also have a takeaway at the end of our building that serves hot & cold drinks, sandwiches, paninis jacket potatoes and sweet treats! If you have food allergies or intolerances please let a member of our team know and we will do our best to cater to your needs.  Food is served from 9am and last food orders are 2pm. We do not allow food to be brought in from home. Only food & drink purchased from Anchors Away Cafe can be consumes on the premises. ( Allowances are made for weaning babies & children with specific dietary requirements, this must be brought to a team members attention)
